Services and Fee Schedule for Medico-Legal Review and Testimony
As a long-time Board-Certified and Recertified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, I
accept the responsibility for providing medico-legal review and testimony for
attorneys representing both plaintiffs and defendants in cases which involve my
specialty. I am available to take phone calls, review records, provide written
opinions, give depositions, travel, attend meetings, and testify in court as
well as in other venues such as Medical Board hearings. I have served as an
expert medical witness for more than 11 years and have never been disqualified
as an expert. I have reviewed more than 150 cases, both for the defense and the
plaintiff. I have been deposed at least 20 times and have testified in court on
at least 7 occasions. In addition, having served as
President of the San Diego County Medical Society, I am a capable public speaker
and will add a substantial degree of authority and credibility to the matter at
hand.

Current Charges for Medico-Legal Services
1. Initial review of records: $800. Check required to accompany records.
2. Deposition: $1,500/half day or portion thereof
3. Trial: $4,500/day or portion thereof
4. All other work, including research, report preparation, meetings, and
telephone calls: $300.00/hour.
5. Travel time: $150.00/hour when appropriate.
